Graduation Requirements

DCHS offers three diploma options, enabling and preparing students for entrance to the college of their choice. 

University Preparatory diploma meets or exceeds all of the requirements and recommendations of the University of California system. 

College Preparatory diploma meets or exceeds all requirements of the University of California and California State University systems and private universities.

Standard diploma exceeds the graduation requirements of the State of California and enables student to be enrolled in a variety of colleges, universities, the military and other institutions requiring a high school diploma.

The goal of DCHS is to present an academic program consistent with a Christian philosophy of education and a biblical perspective so that all students realize the importance and relevance of the never-changing Word of God.

 

Total Credits Required:

250+ credits for College Prep or University Prep Diploma

240+ credits for Standard Diploma

*If students elect to take Algebra IIA and IIB, 40 units of math are required to graduate with a college prep diploma
