What kind of school expenses does Scrip cover?
Your Scrip account balance can be used to cover school expenses such as: registration, books, material fees, sports fees, camps, trips, school lunches, special ed. programs, bus fees, fundraising requirements and even tuition (during the months of January & June).
Who can join?
Anyone with a credit, debit and/or grocery loyalty card can join. Scrip will benefit DCS families only, but you can have an unlimited number of contributors to your account. Encourage relatives, friends and co-workers to sign-up and help you start saving for your child’s education!
I’m enrolled. How can I find out my account balance?
Balances and other account information can be obtained by contacting the DCS Scrip Coordinator at (661) 948-5071, Ext. 272 or by visiting the DCS Development Office on the Main Campus.
How can I use our accumulated account balance to defray my child's educational costs?
Account transfers from your Scrip account to your child’s program may throughout the year by visiting the DCS Development Office Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 2p.m. Contact the DCS Scrip Coordinator for more information on the many ways to use your account balance.
What happens to our account balance once our child leaves or graduates?
Scrip balances may be used to pay outstanding tuition bills and other expenses owed to the school. If all the school expenses are paid, you may transfer your balance to another family at DCS, or make a donation to the DCS Scholarship Fund.
