s
the Learning Tree opens its doors at 6:00 am,
I kiss my mommy goodbye and run inside to Mrs. Lambert.
She hugs me and takes me over to the building blocks where
Timmy and Bethany are playing. We all build a house together
before it's time to clean up and sit in a circle. We all
hear stories, sing songs and share together. I like it when
we do a puppet show the best.
oday
is Lisa's Birthday. She is four. We get to eat cake and
have juice or a snack. I like singing the birthday song
to her.
fter
we eat, we go outside to play. I usually play in the sand
box and the castles, or ride the tricycles. We like to chase
each other in the circle. Yesterday we got to play with
clay, but today it's too hot so Mrs. Lambert is letting
us run through the sprinklers.
ust
before lunch we fold our hands an say a prayer to God. We
thank him for our food and for mommy and daddy. I thank
Him for Mrs. Lambert, too. I like her.
ext
we have lunch and then we take a nap. Sometimes I'm really
tired from playing so hard, but sometimes I'm not, so Mrs.
Lambert rubs my back until I fall asleep, just like my mommy
does at home. |
hen I wake up its time
to go potty and I put my mat and blanket away all by myself.
After I'm done, I eat an apple and talk to my friend Shelly.
We decide what to play next.
e
go outside and pretend we're mommies. We take dolls for
a walk and for a drive on the trikes... they like that.
Shelly wants to go on the tire swing. I tell her that I
just ate and might throw up, so we go listen to the other
teacher tell a story instead.
y
mommy comes to get me when we are done playing. I am really
happy to see her. I say goodbye to Mrs. Lambert and tell
her I'll see her later. I can't wait until tomorrow because
we get to play with clay again! |
