Desert Christian Middle School competes with several area schools in boys' and girls' cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and track. Middle school students also participate in a campus spirit cheer squad and a DCS gymnastics competition cheer squad.

Desert Christian High School competes in C.I.F. sporting events including boys' soccer, basketball, gymnastics, cross country and track; and girls' cheer squad, soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, gymnastics, cross country and track.

Our goals include:

•  Developing a positive self image in each student by encouraging them, praising them, and providing situations that they can be successful in.
  
•  Teaching students to understand and accept their individuality; that God loves us as we are, with our abilities and weaknesses.
  
•  Practicing Christian sportsmanship; how to win and lose graciously, knowing that you have done your very best (...do all things heartily, as to the Lord... Col.3:23). It is a matter of attitude and priorities that determines if one is a winner in God's eye, not whether the game is won or lost.
